About Ken

Meeting you at life’s tender crossroads…

This season of life invites reflection, connection, and meaning-making. And you don’t have to journey it alone. Whether you’re navigating aging, grieving a loss, preparing for what’s next, or simply drawn to explore life’s deeper questions, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I’m Ken Plattner—a chaplain, facilitator, and presence-based guide. I offer space for thoughtful conversation, wise decision-making, and soulful support through life’s most tender and transformative moments.

Why I do this work…

I’ve spent more than five decades companioning people through life’s joys and sorrows—as a hospice chaplain, grief counselor, life-cycle celebrant, end-of-life doula, coach, and group facilitator.

This work has taught me how much we all long to be seen, heard, honored, and presenced with—especially during times of vulnerable transitions. It’s also shown me that meaning and connection are always possible, no matter what season of life we’re in.

How I show up…

People often tell me I have a calming presence and a steady, compassionate way of holding space. I meet others with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for their unique stories. I don’t offer pat answers or quick fixes—but I do offer presence, insight, companionship, and oftentimes, an irreverent take.

We don’t have to have it all figured out. We just have to be willing to show up. I’ll meet you there.

Let’s connect…

If you’re seeking thoughtful support, soulful conversation, or a grounded companion for whatever you’re walking through, I invite you to explore my offerings—or reach out and say hello. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
